La recepci\u00f3 i plantada de gegants es far\u00e0 a l&#8217;esplanada del pavell\u00f3 municipal vidrerenc i, una vegada hagin arribat totes les colles, es far\u00e0 el ball conjunt de gegants. Un ball estrenat l&#8217;any passat a Santa Coloma de Farners i que tocaran en directe les gralles i tambors de la colla gegantera de Vidreres. Aquest ball \u00e9s com\u00fa per a totes les trobades que es vagin fent, aix\u00ed com tamb\u00e9 ho \u00e9s la m\u00fasica. Despr\u00e9s es far\u00e0 una cercavila i, en acabar, s&#8217;entregar\u00e0 un record de la trobada a cada colla participant, tot arrodonit amb un sopar de germanor. Vint colles selvatanes prendran part en aquesta segona trobada, que en aquesta edici\u00f3 es portar\u00e0 a terme a Vidreres. La participaci\u00f3 la formaran: Amer, Angl\u00e8s, Arb\u00facies, Blanes Joaquim Ruyra, Blanes, Breda, Caldes de Malavella, Can Fornaca, Hostalric, Lloret de Mar, Ma\u00e7anet de la Selva, Riudarenes, Riudellots de la Selva, Sant Hilari Sacalm, Santa Coloma de Farners, Sils, Tordera, Vidreres, Vilob\u00ed d&#8217;Onyar i Cass\u00e0 de la Selva.
