La candidatura de Garcia va ser anunciada durant el tradicional sopar de Nadal de l&#8217;agrupaci\u00f3 local i va tenir el suport del portaveu parlamentari del partit, Felip Puig. En el seu discurs de presa de c\u00e0rrec, l&#8217;alcalde i ja candidat va demanar la implicaci\u00f3 de tots els membres de la federaci\u00f3 \u00abper treballar per Tordera igual que ho he fet en els darrers anys\u00bb. Joan Carles Garcia, expl\u00edca els motius que el porten a tornar-se a presentar com alcaldable a les properes eleccions municipals.<\/p>\n<p>Joan Carles Garcia \u00e9s alcalde des del 1995, quan va pactar amb el regidor independent de l&#8217;alternativa Independent Torderenca (AIT), Llu\u00eds Barrera.
