La setmana central de la Festa Major comen\u00e7a aquest dijous amb el tradicional recital d’havaneres. Enguany anir\u00e0 a c\u00e0rrec del Grup Peix Fregit. \u00a0El grup va quedar formalment constitu\u00eft, sota la direcci\u00f3 de Josep Bastons, al ser convidats els seus components a participar en una de les primeres “Cantada d’Havaneres” de Calella de Palafrugell, l’any 1974. L’activitat del grup per\u00f2, sense el nom “Peix Fregit”, arrenca l’any 1972. Els tres components cantaven en sopars i \u00e0pats diversos, festivals, sense cap nom que els identifiqu\u00e9s. Va ser l’any 1974, quan van participar en la cantada de Calella, quan van tenir la necessitat de trobar un nom. El nom del grup est\u00e0 estretament lligat a la vila de Palafrugell. El tradicional recital d’havaneres comen\u00e7ar\u00e0 a les deu del vespre a la pla\u00e7a de l’Esgl\u00e9sia. A la mitja part, la Comissi\u00f3 de Festes repartir\u00e0 rom cremat per a tots els assistents i seguidament es procedir\u00e0 a la presentaci\u00f3 de les candidates i candidats a pubilla i hereu de Tordera 2009. Aquesta presentaci\u00f3 servir\u00e0 per con\u00e8ixer m\u00e9s personalment els candidats. La regidora de festes, Maria \u00c0ngels Cayr\u00f3, ens parla sobre aquesta nit i explica els sistemes de votaci\u00f3 dels candidats a hereu i pubilla de Tordera 2009<\/a>.
