Els autors parlen dels dos recorreguts del cam\u00ed ral per les comarques gironines.<\/p>\n<p>El primer recorregut \u00e9s hist\u00f2ric: arrenca a la prehist\u00f2ria, on el cam\u00ed ja s&#8217;utlitzava, passa per la Via Augusta romana, el &#8220;cam\u00ed de Fran\u00e7a&#8221; medieval i el Cam\u00ed Ral, i acaba a les grans vies de comunicaci\u00f3 que en s\u00f3n hereves: la N-II, el tren, l&#8217;autopista i el TGV.<\/p>\n<p>El segon recorregut \u00e9s literal: el lector surt de Girona pel carrer Migdia i, seguint el que queda de cam\u00ed ral (trams m\u00e9s o menys ben conservats, hostals, ponts, guals, cases de pag\u00e8s, algun nucli urb\u00e0&#8230;), passa per Fornells, Riudellots, Franciac, Vallcanera, Mallorquines, Riudarenes, Massanes, Hostalric, Gaserans, la Batll\u00f2ria, Gualba, Sant Celoni, Caldes, Sils, Vidreres, Ma\u00e7anet i Tordera. La publicaci\u00f3 esta acompanyada per una descripci\u00f3 acurada, un bon nombre de fotografies i un reguitzell d&#8217;esdeveniments (guerres, actes de bandolerisme, an\u00e8cdotes de viatgers, testimonis literaris) que tenen aquest tram de Cam\u00ed Ral com a protagonista.
