Aquesta obra s&#8217;ha elaborat a partir de les converses mantingudes amb 140 persones vinculades al Montnegre, ent\u00e8s com les muntanyes, les valls i les planes que hi ha entre el mar, la Tordera i les rieres que neixen al Collsacreu. Aquest volum \u00e9s el segon de la trilogia &#8220;Recull de la cultura oral del Montnegre&#8221; i porta per t\u00edtol &#8220;V\u00f2gits, modolons i desfedors&#8221;, paraules ja gaireb\u00e9 oblidades en els nostres temps. Al llarg de les 300 p\u00e0gines del volum, els informants recorden les rieres farcides de peix, la Torderada de 1920 i la de 1962, les rierades a l&#8217;Alt Maresme, la gran nevada de 1962, el funcionament del mol\u00ed d&#8217;en Torr\u00fas de Sant Iscle, l&#8217;aq\u00fceducte de can Mor\u00e8 de Pineda de Mar&#8230; i un llarg etc\u00e8tera de temes que han marcat les hist\u00f2ries locals. El llibre tamb\u00e9 ens convida a con\u00e8ixer oficis ja gaireb\u00e9 desapareguts al Maresme: saurins, moliners, pouaires, cistellers, segadors, pastors transhumants, abellaires, traginers&#8230; Uns oficies explicats pels propis informants que ens traslladen a l&#8217;\u00e8poca en qu\u00e8 la llum era de teies o espelmes i el bestiar feia el treball que ara fan els motors.
