L’estudi, que es va impulsar al novembre de 2007 i es va allagar tot l’any passat, tenia per objectiu fer una diagnosi de la realitat del mercat setmanal de Tordera. Les conclusions d’aquesta diagnosi han de servir per redactar un Pla d’acci\u00f3 que permeti establir les millores i les l\u00ednies estrat\u00e8giques per a la modernitzaci\u00f3 del mercat de venda no sedent\u00e0ria com ara la millora de l’oferta comercial, les infraestructures i els serveis, l’optimitzaci\u00f3 de l’espai comercial i la gesti\u00f3 del propi mercat. Per dur a terme l’estudi de millora i modernitzaci\u00f3 del mercat s’han realitzat diverses trobades amb les parts implicades: associacions de marxants, associacions de botiguers i tamb\u00e9 a trav\u00e9s d’un treball de camp amb enquestes als visitants.
