El Departament de Pol\u00edtica Territorial i Obres P\u00fabliques (PTOP) repr\u00e8n, doncs, un projecte ajornat des del 2001 a trav\u00e9s de la publicaci\u00f3 en el DOGC de la relaci\u00f3 de les finques que quedaran afectades per les obres. L&#8217;actuaci\u00f3, a c\u00e0rrec de la concession\u00e0ria Acesa i amb un cost de 23 milions d&#8217;euros, est\u00e0 condicionada per la decisi\u00f3 final del Ministeri de Foment sobre el tra\u00e7at definitiu del desdoblament de l&#8217;N-II entre Tordera i Ma\u00e7anet de la Selva i que l&#8217;enfronta amb el municipi de Blanes.<br \/>\nEl nou tram tindr\u00e0 una longitud de 3,4 quil\u00f2metres i el formaran dos carrils \u2013ara en t\u00e9 tres\u2013 de 3,5 metres d&#8217;amplada per cada sentit de la circulaci\u00f3. L&#8217;obra significar\u00e0 tamb\u00e9 una remodelaci\u00f3 de l&#8217;enlla\u00e7 existent ara a Palafolls i la formaci\u00f3 d&#8217;un nou enlla\u00e7 final sobre la carretera GI-600, que uneix Blanes i Tordera. Aquest enlla\u00e7, segons recull el projecte, es resoldr\u00e0 amb la construcci\u00f3 d&#8217;una rotonda aixecada sobre el tronc de l&#8217;autopista. L&#8217;estructura m\u00e9s destacada en l&#8217;ampliaci\u00f3 \u00e9s un viaducte de 800 metres de longitud que creuar\u00e0 el riu Tordera, passar\u00e0 per la zona de Jalp\u00ed i sobre la l\u00ednia de tren Blanes-Ma\u00e7anet.
