L\u2019objectiu de l\u2019acte era informar sobre la moci\u00f3 que el ple de l\u2019Ajuntament va aprovar el passat mes de setembre, per tal de crear una mesa de treball per la millora en la protecci\u00f3 dels animals dom\u00e8stics de Tordera. A m\u00e9s, la xerrada, que estava oberta a la ciutadania, tenia la intenci\u00f3 de con\u00e8ixer, de la m\u00e0 de la gent, quina \u00e9s la realitat sobre aquest assumpte en el municipi. A l\u2019acte hi van assistir m\u00e9s d\u2019una vintena de participants i van intervenir-hi el candidat del PSC a les municipals del 2015, Rafa Delgado, i la regidora socialista de l\u2019Ajuntament, To\u00f1i Garcia.
