Un estudi del RACC ha perm\u00e8s treure a la llum &#8220;un mapa de trams negres&#8221; de les carreteres de l&#8217;estat on se superen els 200.000 euros per km. El segon i el quart trams de l&#8217;Estat amb un cost m\u00e9s elevat s\u00f3n a l&#8217;N-II i ambd\u00f3s s\u00f3n trams per desdoblar i estan situats entre Tordera i Caldes de Malavella. Segons la DGT (en dades de 2012), un mort costa 1.400.000 euros de mitjana i un ferit greu 219.000 euros. El tram que genera m\u00e9s despeses \u00e9s un de 5 quil\u00f2metres a la carretera de la V-31, al municipi de Silla (Val\u00e8ncia).
