Mentre que l&#8217;any 2000 van perdre la vida a les carreteres locals 24 persones, al 2010 nom\u00e9s van registrar-se 5 morts, i cap en els primers tres mesos de l&#8217;any 2013. A Tordera, l\u2019\u00fanica via que dep\u00e8n de la diputaci\u00f3 \u00e9s la BV-5122 entre Tordera i Fogars. Precisament, aquesta carretera \u00e9s considerada una de les m\u00e9s perilloses de la xarxa viaria catalana. El diputat d&#8217;Insfraestructures, Urbanisme i Habitatge de la Diputaci\u00f3 de Barcelona, Marc Castells, d\u00f3na les darreres dades sobre la mortalitat a les carreteres locals de la demarcaci\u00f3 de Barcelona.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/radiotordera.cat\/noticies\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/mortalitat-carreteres-dipu-1.mp3\">mortalitat carreteres dipu 1<\/a><\/p>\n<p>La Diputaci\u00f3 de Barcelona ha invertit aquest any 40 milions d&#8217;euros en els 1.600 quil\u00f2metres de carreteres locals que hi ha a la demarcaci\u00f3 per tal de millorar la seguretat de les carreteres locals, tal i com explica Marc Castells.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/radiotordera.cat\/noticies\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/mortalitat-carreteres-dipu-2.mp3\">mortalitat carreteres dipu 2<\/a><\/p>\n<p>En aquest sentit, la carretera BV-5122, que uneix Tordera amb Fogars de la Selva, va ser objecte fa uns mesos d\u2019unes obres per refor\u00e7ar la seguretat vi\u00e0ria en aquest tram amb una inversi\u00f3 de prop de 60.500 euros. Entre aquestes destaca el refor\u00e7 de les contencions laterals, amb noves barreres i sistemes de protecci\u00f3 de motoristes en els trams m\u00e9s perillosos. Tamb\u00e9 s\u2019han posat nous captafars a les barreres laterals, per tal de millorar la visibilitat de la via durant la nit, sobretot. A m\u00e9s, s\u2019ha millorat la senyalitzaci\u00f3.
