L\u2019objectiu de la moci\u00f3 \u00e9s que els supermercats locals facin l\u2019aportaci\u00f3 d\u2019aquells productes que ja no poden vendre per\u00f2 que, en canvi, encara s\u00f3n aptes pel consum. Aquests productes, d\u2019altra manera, podrien acabar malbaratats a les escombraries.
