El torderenc Josep Massagu\u00e9 va ser l\u2019encarregat d\u2019explicar l\u2019hist\u00f2ria, utilitzaci\u00f3 i viv\u00e8ncies del pont.<\/p>\n

El pont de ferro de Tordera \u00e9s un dels s\u00edmbols m\u00e9s emblem\u00e0tics de la mem\u00f2ria hist\u00f2rica local. Es va construir per primera vegada l\u2019any 1897, per\u00f2 una riuada se\u2019l va emportar 92 dies despr\u00e9s de la seva inauguraci\u00f3. L\u2019any seg\u00fcent es va reconstruir amb algunes modificacions i va quedar inaugurat l\u2019agost de 1898. Aquest pont, que durant anys va servir per unir el nucli de Tordera amb els equipaments de l\u2019illa del riu, va caure definitivament el 5 d’abril de 1969, tamb\u00e9 a conseq\u00fc\u00e8ncia d\u2019una riada. El 30 de mar\u00e7 del 2007, coincidint amb la fira mercat del ram, es va inaugurar de nou, fins a l\u2019actualitat.<\/p>\n

L\u2019antic pont de ferro, va centrar bona part de la xerrada de divendres. El pont de ferro era molt utilitzat entre els torderencs de l\u2019\u00e8poca.
