La trobada tamb\u00e9 volia homenatjar el jove torderenc de 28 anys que va morir el passat cap de setmana, despr\u00e9s que el seu cos impactes mortalment contra un guarda rail, a la carretera N-260, a Ridaura. La concentraci\u00f3 de motoristes va sortir a les 9 del mat\u00ed del carrer roger de lluria de Tordera, direcci\u00f3 a Ridaura per en el lloc on es va produir el sinistre.  Els guarda rails s\u00f3n barreres laterals amb perfil met\u00e0l\u00b7lic que tenen com a missi\u00f3 evitar que, en cas de p\u00e8rdua del control del vehicle, aquest no pugui sortir de la carretera. Malgrat aix\u00f2, un elevat percentatge de les v\u00edctimes d&#8217;accidents de moto s\u00f3n fruit d&#8217;aquests guarda rails. Actualment, nom\u00e9s el 33% dels guardar rails de les carreteres catalanes tenen postes amb un perfil en U, menys lesius que els que presenten perfil en I, responsables de moltes amputacions de mans, bra\u00e7os i cames. Tot i aix\u00f2, els fabricants disposen de multitud de models, cap d&#8217;ells homologat. A l&#8217;Estat espanyol no existeix una normativa clara respecte als protectors laterals que s&#8217;han d&#8217;instal\u00b7lar. En aquests moments, un grup d&#8217;experts en carretera de tot l&#8217;estat est\u00e0 estudiant les possibles alternatives.
