L’Audi\u00e8ncia destaca en la sent\u00e8ncia el comportament exemplar i de preocupaci\u00f3 de l’alcalde davant la problem\u00e0tica i que des de l’Ajuntament s’ha actuat complint amb totes les seves compet\u00e8ncies en aquesta mat\u00e8ria.

Durant el judici Garcia ja va assenyalar l’Ag\u00e8ncia Catalana de l’Aigua (ACA) com a principal responsable, per no haver constru\u00eft la depuradora projectada al municipi. Tot i aix\u00f2, l’alcalde afirma que la situaci\u00f3 econ\u00f2mica de l’ACA far\u00e0 dif\u00edcil realitzar ara cap actuaci\u00f3 en un curt termini de temps.
