Va ser en el transcurs del ple de constituci\u00f3 del nou ajuntament. La sessi\u00f3 va ser presidida, com toca per llei, per la taula d&#8217;edat, formada pel regidor m\u00e9s gran i el m\u00e9s jove. A Tordera, aquesta vegada la taula d&#8217;edat va ser presidida pel convergent Jordi Cam\u00f3 i el republic\u00e0 Jordi Romaguera. Tots els regidors van jurar o prometre el c\u00e0rrec i, seguidament, es va procedir a l&#8217;elecci\u00f3 de l&#8217;alcalde. Els caps de llista de les diferents formacions que van obtenir representaci\u00f3 en els comicis eren tots candidats. Nom\u00e9s el republic\u00e0 Xavier Pla va manifestar el seu desig de no presentar-se com a candidat a alcalde. Finalment, Joan Carles Garcia va ser reelegit alcalde amb el suport de 9 vots, que atorga la majoria absoluta. Tamb\u00e9 va expressar que la voluntat del partit en aquesta primera legislatura amb representaci\u00f3 al consistori municipal \u00e9s fer una oposici\u00f3 constructiva. Tamb\u00e9 va dir que l&#8217;objectiu del partit \u00e9s representar la gent que els va donar suport als seus votants i ajudar a fer avan\u00e7ar el poble.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n[audio:http:\/\/www.radiotordera.cat\/wordpress\/wp-content\/2011\/06\/constitucio-erc.mp3|titles=constitucio erc]\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;\">El regidor del Partit Socialista, Josep Romaguera, va agrair al PSC i els votants la seva confian\u00e7a i va felicitar l&#8217;alcalde. Va demanar que no es jutgi a totes les persones per igual en un moment dif\u00edcil per la pol\u00edtica i va dir que faran el possible per tirar endavant el seu programa des de l&#8217;oposici\u00f3 amb treball, dedicaci\u00f3 i honradesa.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n[audio:http:\/\/www.radiotordera.cat\/wordpress\/wp-content\/2011\/06\/constitucio-psc.mp3|titles=constitucio psc]\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;\">Finalment, el reelegit alcalde de Tordera, Joan Carles Garcia, va explicar que ser\u00e0 l&#8217;alcalde de tots i que proposa un govern de CiU per canviar les coses, per\u00f2 amb la col\u00b7laboraci\u00f3 de tots els grups pol\u00edtics amb representaci\u00f3 al consistori.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n[audio:http:\/\/www.radiotordera.cat\/wordpress\/wp-content\/2011\/06\/constitucio-ciu.mp3|titles=constitucio ciu]\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;\">L&#8217;alcalde, Joan Carles Garcia, t\u00e9 previst donar a con\u00e8ixer els propers dies com es distribueixen les feines del govern entre els regidors. Els nous regidors de l&#8217;Ajuntament de Tordera s\u00f3n: per Converg\u00e8ncia i Uni\u00f3, Mar\u00e7al Vilajeliu i Eliana Romera; per el Partit dels Socialistes, Antonia Garcia i Salvador Dom\u00ednguez; per ERC, Xavier Pla i Jordi Romaguera; i per el PP, Xavier Martin i Javier Caballero.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;\">L&#8217;auditori del Teatre Clav\u00e9 es va omplir del tot durant en ple de constituci\u00f3 del nou ajuntament.
