Segons les \u00faltimes dades facilitades pel servei, des que es va posar en marxa el febrer del 2006 fins a l&#8217;octubre d&#8217;aquest any s&#8217;han recollit 276 gossos de Tordera i 244 d&#8217;Argentona. La gran extensi\u00f3 territorial de Tordera i la proliferaci\u00f3 d&#8217;urbanitzacions i ve\u00efnats \u00e9s un factor clau que incideix en l&#8217;elevat nombre d&#8217;animals abandonats i que han estat recollits pel Centre d&#8217;Atenci\u00f3 d&#8217;Animals Dom\u00e8stics de Companyia del Maresme. El principal objectiu de la gossera se centra ara en les campanyes informatives per sensibilitzar els propietaris d&#8217;animals sobre la necessitat de censar-los i posar-los el xip.
